Hecarim makes little to no promises. If he does, they are usually false when it comes to leading people onto the Shadow Isles. He would promise them a high ranking place in his army, endless power and a will of their own.
He has broken a lot of promises because of this.
But when it comes to people he holds dear, which I can literally count on one hand, he usually holds up to that promise.
