Talnah tried to refrain herself from sighing. She had been sitting here for what seemed like hours and this man still would leave her! She didn't want to just leave in fear of seeming rude.... But she really wasn't interested in him as a suitor.... Her smile was thin as she gripped her teacup and continued to listen to him talk... This wouldn't be a good relationship or marriage... Well... not for her at least.... She was ready to leave and spend time with her family.

What she needed was a miracle....

Hi! I'm going to be running a dnd-style game for kids around 10 y/o and was wondering if you had any recommendations for sources to use in making dnd more simple for them. Please and thank you.

Depends. This question could be taken one of three ways:

1. You’re planning on using some specific version of D&D, and you’re looking for advice on simplifying that specific version of D&D.

2. You’re looking for games in the style of D&D (i.e., role-based fantasy dungeon crawlers), but not necessarily D&D in particular.

3. You’re using “dnd-style game” as a synonym for “tabletop roleplaying game”, and you’re looking for any sort of kid-friendly tabletop RPG, regardless of whether it particularly resembles D&D proper.

Which one did you intend? (And if you meant the first one, which specific version of D&D did you have in mind?)

Haden drummed his fingers along his sketchbook. Earlier he had been in the middle of drawing when he received a notification from his spy network. Originally he made one because he was tired of not knowing things. And because at the time it made him feel closer to his mother. It took some time since they don't just come from no where but he managed to build a reliable network for himself. Most were around his age although one of them were older than him. Older than his parents. And his grandparents. He was pretty sure they were just old as shit at this point. It was always hard to tell.

He was currently eating while they talked. Originally he had been out getting some food when he felt the presence. Then he wanted to see if he was crazy so he looked around and found two more that matched. Naturally he told Haden.

By now Haden was wondering why his parents didn't tell him. Then he figured that if his father knew he would of told them. With that being said that meant there was only one other person who might of known. And she didn't say anything to him. Worse, she didn't tell his father. While he wanted to be upset, he just stopped himself. He was done holding the past against his mother. The future was still free game though.

"Thanks Spider."

"Don't thank me. I live for the family drama you have. It's always fun. Let me know how it goes and try not to yeet them too much. It's best you don't scare them off."

"Yeah yeah. No yeeting until they know. When they do, may the Memelord have mercy on them cause I have years of yeeting to make up for."

Haden ended their chat before making a portal to visit his younger siblings, getting in the general area before looking to see where he was.

Rupert clashed against Elijah, swords meeting in a deadly dance. He was unsure about sparring with real swords, but the Kabayong Simarron clan were the best teachers of any armed combat. If anyone could teach him, a non-human, swordplay, it was them. He panted, heeding the advice Elijah gave him and adjusting his grip accordingly.

They broke away from their lock and clashed again. Rupert was forced on the defensive. Elijah slashed, Rupert parried. Elijah thrust, Rupert dodged. Rupert slashed, Elijah quickly disarmed him and pointed the tip of his Claymore at Rupert's throat.

Rupert breathed heavily, ears alert as he glanced toward their audience for his mate.
