Tell us a bit about yourself! My name is Amanda but in my friend group [of three] most just call me ‘Mike’. I’m 26 going on 27 and I am an artist and creative writer [rper but eh close enough]
When did you get into the fandom and how did you stumble upon it? I kind of stumbled across Satan and Me by accident because it showed up as a recommended blog for me to look at. No regrets ^^
Who are your favorite characters/pairings? My favorite characters are Archangel Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Lucifer, and Natalie [I like Kristi too but I don’t know as much about her] As far as pairings go I like HolyHell, HolyWater, Natan, Michaelie, Graph and um… I think that’s about it really.
Oh! And Sheipos!
Favorite moment in the comic? That’s like trying to get me to chose my favorite kid if I had any, but… I guess the Run arc was really good ^^
What is your biggest inspiration as far as your art and writing goes? ah! It’s mostly music that inspires me, and I listen to all kinds of music ^^ Just not opera usually
What would you say is your favorite piece that you’ve done so far? Hmmm… I would say the Michael! On Ice one because it was very fun to do and I am over all really pleased with the colors
What would you say is one of your favorite things to draw or write? Um… Usually I love drawing wolves,horses, not usually humans. As for writing, I usually do short stories based on daydreams I tend to have. writing out daydreams is fun even if sometimes it makes no sense What do you think influences your style? I think that anime, manga, music, and various fandoms have always influenced my work. I haven’t been drawing humans very long. I use a lot of references when I draw. Of course when I say I haven’t been drawing them long I mean I’ve only been drawing them about two years
What are some of your hobbies you enjoy? I like to walk and listen to music in the mornings and sing to myself a great deal Before joining SaM, what was a fandom you were part of and are there any fandoms you’re into outside of SaM? Ohhh boy…. I was/am part of the Naruto fandom but only casually [I know I know, most people think it’s trash but that was my teenage years] But aside from that I don’t really know..
Is there anything else you’d like the fandom to know about you or anything you’d like to say to the fandom as a whole? Well mostly I just wanted to say that I love this fandom and I’m really glad that I am a part of it, and that I’ve met some wonderful people as a result of it The 'Samily’ really is a good name for it, at least for me and the friends I’ve made while I’ve been part of this fandom ^^
