Caitlin Snow was a well-respected student. She was doing her Masters in Bio-Engineering while taking a lot of med-school courses at Central City University. The research she was conducting under guidance of Doctor Wells was going to be groundbreaking. It would only take a few hours to run the test and report the results back to Doctor Wells. She’d be finished before the weekend. That is, if she would be able to set up the damn equipment.

College!AU. Caitlin's fighting with some equipment in the lab because someone didn't follow the correct guidelines. Good thing Cisco, the guy in her biophysics class, can help her out. Funny how they keep meeting like this, though.

Cisco pressed soft kisses on her shoulder and followed the lines of the tank top she was wearing. “Come on sweetie,” he said as he squeezed his arms tighter. “What is it?”

Caitlin let out a deep breath and slumped against him. “I just got my period,” she said. Which, okay. Not exactly what Cisco had been expecting. His girlfriend continued, rambling: “And I got them earlier than normal so I wasn’t prepared and I don’t have any pads here, only tampons, but toxic shock syndrome is a thing and I don’t like using those at night, and I ruined your boxers, and I’m feeling all gross, and I just…” Caitlin trailed off, squeezing her eyes shut.

Caitlin gets her periods unexpectedly in the middle of the night. Cisco's being an epic boyfriend. That's it. That's the story. Fluffy fluff fluff with mentions of blood, because, well, periods.

As for a fandom name, how about "The Keithing Clan"? Like "the Keithing five", only we're a fandom. And Clan sounds good with the double "K" sound.

Do you mean Keating? lol. & I guess it might take awhile before a fandom name is established(if one already isn't because I tend to stay out of the tags, they can be hostile sometimes lol) Murderers is all i've really seen heavily used so far.

I'm behind as well, don't know what I got myself into either, and I decided to join mid september. It's fiiiine. *hugs*

I actually managed to set out the draft for two stories (because I'm not really aiming to write one big novel, more a bunch of short stories) and I'm at 3.4k right now. Meaning that I actually reached the goal for today, yay!

But yeah, I know how you feel! One advice: just keep writing. My current writing really isn't up to my usual standard, but I'm glad to at least have something on paper :).

Really, love? Really? You're an idiot.5: 4 turns on. When somebody has a subtle, but nice smell. That's so nice. Mmmmmmm. Euhm, what else. When you're dressed really pretty. Like, not even with a lot of skin or whatever, just that you can see you made an effort. People who are just generally nice, good people, who are not mean behind the other's back. A sense of humor.6: 4 turns off. Bad bad breath, whining, people who never look at you while you're talking to them, people who are afraid of freakin' everything so they don't do shit and then complain about they never do anything14: Do I have a crush? She kept saying 'that beard can't be real it must be make up' and I was all 'no, it's real' and she's all 'but it's not natural for a woman to have a beard'...and no matter how many times I said 'yes it is' she just didn't accept it.

I tried explaining that she performs as a woman but is agendered but that went over her head so I said she identifies as both a woman and a man to see if she would understand that and she just couldn't wrap her brain around it.

It's not intolerance, but ignorance.

But I was actually pleasantly surprised at how accepting my dad was over her.  He's normally very ignorant over this sort of thing but he apparently read something about her in the paper and was surprising educated and nonchalant over her!
