Final Thoughts: Voltron Season 4
I like it in that there’s scenes and moments that just resonate with me, with the feeling of Voltron but they didn’t take care of their characters. Keith completely back tracked all of his character development. Lance got more flirty and Hunk was literally comic relief in one episode. Shiro feels weird to me, not just the fact that he looks like an imposer, but he’s very stiff and overly controlling of the team. There’s parts where he feels like the old Shiro but... he just isn’t the same. I swear to every fucking thing if they push Lance and Allura together without properly developing their relationship other than “Allura doesn’t know he exists and Lance is jealous of any one else who thinks she’s pretty” I’m going to burn everything. Keith and Lance have chemistry. They have development. Lance has been seen growing closer to Keith, nothing about Lance and Allura’s relationship has changed, other than the fact that she is slightly more confident in herself and Lance has pride with her. There needs to be so much more. Not just in the next season but in other seasons. I wanted more and they didn’t deliver. Everyone wants more development for Hunk and Lance and other characters but what they did was kick Keith out, for no reason when he kind of just accepted the fact he was the new head of Voltron, and forget what development means.
