I left my apartment to discover that my cell service isn't working. I have four bars of 5G, but my texts won't send and nothing loads. I had to wait half an hour for my train to arrive so I can use the WiFi on it.

Anyways, is anyone else having issues with Verizon? (Already checked DownDetector)

Housekeeping

So for the last several years I’ve been paying $60CDN per month for 3GB of cell data. This is Canada and data is expensive here. 

So over the holiday I decided to check to see if they had any better plans. I found one and switched. Starting today I’m paying $50CDN per month for 8GB of data. 

Um, yeah, I’m going to have to check this more often.

Poor data

Living on mobile cell data month to month while living in the middle of nowhere when the only half-working WiFi area is at the shady and musky-smelling early college, where you literally have NO TIME to actually USE it freaking sucks. Bad. World ends, whenever you watch a video.

IMPORTANT CELLULAR DATA PSA If you have been going over your mobile data limits lately this is probably why. To fix it: 1) Go to cellular and scroll all the way down 2) Turn off WiFi assist Apple and some major phone providers have been in cahoots on this one, and taking YOUR money. I smell a class action lawsuit on the way

Stupid parents!

Somehow they have blown through our 4 gigs of shared data! I'm at a loss for what they are possibly doing. Last month they almost went over and this month they do. I haven't even used a gig of data. Mainly cause my phone is always at home.
