#cell mid thoughts

there are two foreigners on the train and i overheard the conductress trying to tell them in broken english that their ticket is invalid and they need to get a new one in the transfer train but it wasn’t coming through so i decided to step in and help, she explained the issue to me and i translated into english and offered them assistance to find the correct public transport once they get off (since im getting off at the same stop anyway) :)

so my partners younger brother is apparently planning to propose to his girlfriend (20) because “they’ve been together for a few years and they’re moving in together so it’s the logical next step”. while i am generally sceptical of people getting married this young, at least this isn’t a religious thing and we all kind of expected it as the girl was always very upfront about that being something she wanted.

anyway. while i remain sceptical they do have my support. that’s not my problem. my problem is that if family members weren’t annoying about me and my partner getting married until now, they will start. because how come the older couple in the family isn’t the first one to get married, right? well, because we’re not in a rush and we don’t even really want a wedding, but try explaining that to all the grandmas and the like.

boyfriend forgot his keys at the board game pub and realised literally twenty steps from our apparent building so guess who now has to take the tram all the way back to the opposite side of town to retrieve them

Made and ate breakfast without YouTube on and i was very brave about it

I like to play escape room board games from time to time and there’s nothing as infuriating as being stuck on a puzzle only to give up and look at the hint just to see there was actually no logical way i could’ve solved it as it was just so badly designed OR relied on some sort of outside game knowledge that i just didn’t have (or didn’t think to use as these puzzles usually don’t use prior knowledge in my experience)

i normally have a pretty strict daily shedule but im genuinely considering switching up my sleep cycle and becoming a creature of the night
