That sounds complicated. I do understand a little about Obama I guess?? I’m white. But I was so happy when he was elected because his election showed progress in our country (in my mind at least). So even when he does bad things I don’t want to admit
Yeah. It's like, as awful as some of what he's done is, I can't just ignore the fact that his presidency means a whole hell of a lot to me, on a very personal level. But at the same time, I don't wanna just blindly worship everything he does. I feel conflicted about how to balance my loyalty to my community, and my own morals and critical thinking. :P

we are actually the same person sometimes you know that? This exact thing happened to me twice at camp. It’s my favorite.
I love it I love it I love it I love it. Lmao. It makes me feel special and useful. It's so rare that my weirdly extensive knowledge on insects and reptiles and other creatures ever actually comes in handy. So when it does, I feel like I just won a prize lmao.
