there's a heavy box in his arms and it doesn't belong to him, but no one else in his vicinity seems intent on claiming it.
it's really heavy. like if dan heng opened it right now and saw a pile of ugly, gray rocks in it — he wouldn't be surprised. it's heavy. and not his (evidenced by the extremely bold, extremely purposeful "TO: JOSHUA" scrawled on one side of the cardboard). and more importantly, perhaps most importantly, dan heng doesn't want it.
with that in mind, he tries for the attention of the slowest-moving passerby nearest to him: a lanky teenager that looks approachable enough.
"... do you know a joshua?"
the box feels heavier. dan heng briefly contemplates leaving it somewhere beyond his supervision.
