Hello cells at work fandom, I give u my offering
The show: The tough one is soft for the soft one
Me: omg the tough one is soft for the soft one
Random U1146 x AE3803 Headcannon/s:
U1146 goes to find AE3803 after every battle to make sure she's okay
once he finds her, he'll give her the biggest hug possible
the first time he did this, she was taken aback but returns the hug nonetheless, now it's become a bit of their thing
he'll keep reminding himself 'Everything's okay. She's here, she's safe' to calm himself down from worrying
he wouldn't admit it out loud but he loves seeing RBC's smile, getting a whiff of her cologne, and her warm hugs
After washing, RBC would often suggest to him "Why don't we go find somewhere to sit, relax, and have some tea?" and he agrees
Usually, it would just be the two of them but there would be instances when the neutrophil squad tags along (this happens especially after a very intense battle)
Sometimes RBC will sense how tense WBC is and will even offer him a massage
I’ve been testing out Clip Studio Paint, so I thought I would be practice with Red Blood Cell and White Blood Cell! I’ve watched this anime a couple times, and I love it. It is really funny and a good watch. I think they turned out pretty well! I’m not used to the brushes and such, but practice make perfect, I suppose! :3
Some shows I’ve been watching while I’ve been on unpaid vacation:
Irresponsible Captain Tylor: Justy Ueki Tylor, either the smartest or the dumbest man in space, leads a ragtag crew during an intergalactic war. Tylor’s a comedy protag in what should be a serious space opera. I watched this back in college, but I remember so little of it, watching it again was a bit like watching it for the first time. Also: the UPSF flag looks like a tomato.
Cells At Work!!: Sequel to Cells At Work!, featuring White Blood Cell U-1146 and the digestive system. It continues the cute educational entertainment vibe of the first season, but every time they drop in some walking CGI models into the background, a piece of my soul dies. At one point, I wished that there were some more feminine-looking white blood cells. Be careful what you wish for.
Cells At Work! Code Black: Apocalyptic spin-off of Cells At Work!. While the original is about a healthy, if perpetually under attack, body, Code Black is about a body falling apart due to stress and poor decisions. Because it’s seinen, they go into darker topics, and that’s pretty interesting. But, because it’s seinen, they also have a lot of titillation. While White Blood Cell U-1196‘s design is fine, I REALLY REALLY WISH she and all the other white blood cells would just close their goddamn shirts! And that’s not even getting into the more unpleasant parts of episode 4. After that, it gradually got more bearable. On a positive note: it got me exercising more.
Word of Honor: Zhou Zishu escapes from his dark past in search of some freedom before death, only to find love, family, and a chance to atone for his wrongs. The drama adaptation of Faraway Wanderers, a BL wuxia novel by Priest. Currently in the middle of both. Lots of characters in a twisted plot of greed and revenge, lots of flirting via bickering. Hoping for a happy ending.
Heaven Official’s Blessing: Xie Lian, crown prince and thrice-ascended god, together with the ghost king Hua Cheng, investigates strange events while Xie Lian’s past is slowly revealed. Donghua adaptation of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu‘s fantasy BL novel of the same name. I enjoyed the book very much, so I should have watched this much sooner. The animation’s beautiful.
