I miss it so much Katie. Like, I know there were a lot of bad times in the fandom but also like I miss having new GMW fics to read and just having to lay on the floor after reading one of yours. I also just miss the show and that time, but like I find it hard to watch now. Partly because I’m older and I see all the flaws and partly because its just not the same? you know what? by reading your analysis, I think I realized why I don't really care about Betty...and it's exactly what you said. She's all over the place. I liked her in the first episode, but when they gave her the "dark" Betty storyline, I was like "huh?" and then that confusion grew to indifference the more erratic her behavior and character traits became. So, thank you for taking the time to write that out because knowing why I have an issue with her helps.

yeah it definitely makes it hard to not just relate to her but just understand her as a whole?? for awhile i thought i was just being bias whenever i saw ppl saying she was “the best character on rd” and id roll my eyes but now im genuinely confused by that because.... she might be their favorite character but she’s certainly not the best character by any means...she’s not even 1 character, she’s like 5 characters in one ponytail

glad i’m not the only one who’s indifferent and just not getting the hype over her
