The newest piece adorning my altar: "Cernunnos" by Etsy creator JaneStarrWells. Cernunnos is the Celtic horned god of the woods. He is depicted as half-man, half-stag, and though his exact position in the original Celtic pantheon has been lost to history, he is associated in modern Paganism with animals, the forest, fertility, and wealth. He is seen as a being who teaches balance, as he represents both hunter and hunted. He was the first male pagan deity to reach out to me as I was slowly coming out of the broom closet to myself, circa 2014-2015 (I eventually came out of it to my family in 2016, who accepted me, as I knew they would). For me, Cernunnos stands for fearlessly charging ahead in life. I often affectionately refer to him as my "Get shit done" god. He's a constant in my life, but makes himself known especially when I need that fire lit under my ass. May the Horned One bless all who walk their paths with him.
