✚Bad Connection✚ Babysoul and Jimin
Friends were not exactly the easiest thing to come by, especially for the young water witch. There were very few people out there whom she could even consider to be anything close to a friend, and even then she was hesitant to refer to them with such a term. Friendship implied that the two were super close, and could share whatever they needed to with each other, but Jimin did not have that kind of comfort with anyone she knew, really. However, there were some people in her life that she did enjoy conversing with, and considered to at least be an acquaintance of. One of these people just so happened to be a semi-regular customer at her work, a young lady by the name of Babysoul.
It was a regular day, not too different from any other. Jimin had just gotten off work, making herself two cappuccinos before leaving her apron and name tag behind the counter like she usually did. It was just easiest to leave her uniform here, so that she wouldn’t forget it. At one of the tables by the window, Babysoul had appeared to be sitting by herself, possibly even waiting for Jimin to get off, and though the young water witch didn’t know the exact reason for the girl waiting here, she was pleased to see that the girl was alone. Perhaps they could vent to each other about life, like they had done before.
“Here,” the water witch spoke up, handing the second cappuccino to the woman sitting by the window. “Made it fresh for you… figured you’d like a new cup since your last order was… a bit long ago.” Taking a seat next to the other, the water witch took a small sip of the hot beverage, almost wishing she knew Babysoul well enough to blatantly use her ice magic in front of her to cool down her drink. “How was your day?” the girl asked, tilting her head to the side. It wasn’t exactly the most enthralling conversation, but it was a conversation nonetheless.
