La Belle et la Bête | Jihoon and Bora
The painting seemed to be real, as if by staring at it, the pictures would come alive. Bora loved each artwork that was displayed at the exhibit. Coming around to the main highlight of the whole exhibit, Bora felt something odd about the painting itself. Why? It was too beautiful, it didn't give her the feeling of the photo coming to life. It was too good to be true, in which she decides to walk away from the crowd.
Her light footsteps which led her nowhere in particular led her to one photo. A wolf, an alpha male and a male warrior displaying each scar from the fights they had. She stood there in awe, she gets why people moved away from this certain work. There was blood, scars, the image had a dark aura to it but to her, it was a masterpiece, a work that wasn't given much credit.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" The blonde female said aloud, there was a man standing a few steps away from her. "How a man lived through each hardships and still hasn't given up after the world gave him enough to bear such scars." She kept her arms folded over her chest and smiling she exhales a small breath. "The beast. Everyone has their own scars and each scar has their own story, be it a clumsy mistake or actually fighting for their life." The title suited the artwork itself. "To be able to accept one's scars, is to accept one's history. I guess that's what you call love, being fully accepted for who you really are. Imperfections and all." Bora gave a small chuckle at her own remark, probably she looked stupid in the eyes of the stranger for liking such thing. It didn't suit her 'image'.
"Stories tell that each girl is saved by a charming prince on a high horse or a knight in shining armor, but I'd trust a man of scars that would save me instead. He has his proofs of fighting and winning his own wars and still be able to live. Unlike those pretty boy images portrayed. How do you trust a knight with a shining armor? When obviously, the only ones who wear such are the ones who have never been into war."
She lets her fingers run through her light colored hair, turning to the stranger with a polite smile on her lips. Bowing to him, she soon lifts her head to apologize. "I apologize for speaking too much, I might have disturbed you, sir."
