I have never visited the Manila North Cemetery before, so when my friends invited me for a walk within its grounds, I immediately said yes. It was like a treasure hunt as @jaztyn_kevin led us from one politician's tomb to the next. Still, we were lucky enough to stumble on tombs we didn't know were there, like those of José María Basa, Félix Resurrección Hidalgo, José Corazón de Jesús, Amado Hernandez and Atang Dela Rama. The place didn't feel like a cemetery; it was more like a open-air museum. The residents even acted like docents, gamely showing us the way to find some hard-to-locate tombs. Still, we were not able to explore the entire place. Hopefully, our group can return soon to see the other tombs and mausolea we missed. #cementeriodelnorte https://www.instagram.com/p/CRTIvivDwfntfNgmLSXTv0tibO8AHRpQAQu0UQ0/?utm_medium=tumblr
