♢ - What abilities does your muse possess that makes them an effective fighter?
Alright, let’s see...Asharin is an effective fighter because:- shapeshifting (druidic power) - bear form - durable and resilient fur and hide, can be further reinforced with barkskin, spikes and thorns sprauting from the flesh at places that dameges the attacker’s flesh if close enough, sharp claws and fangs for shreddign and mauling in melee - panther /cat/ form - stealth for surprise attacks, again sharp claws and fangs in melee- calling up and enlarging roots (druidic power) - good for immobilizing one or a smaller number of enemies for a limited duration and cause some damage with the thorns sprouting from the roots- calling down the lightningstorm (personal druidic power) - mid to longrange aoe attack of lightning striking down consecutively (yep, it does strike the same location more than once), it is draining but effective- casting lightning bolt (personal druidic power) - single target midrange attack, he can infuse it with arcane power to increase the destructive power (the arcane infusion is a sideeffect of him getting tossed into the Nightwell and barely surviving the experience due to his Highborne heritage)- covering his arms and fingers with extra-hard bark ( personal druidic power) - useful for melee if he is unarmed and can’t/doesn’t want to shapeshift, it essentially makes his hands into weapons with sharp wooden talons for fingers, again to rend and tear; this ability is not the same as barkskin as the resilience of this covering focused on his arms is even higher than the default barkskin ability- barkskin (druidic power) - hardenign his skin akin to bark, increasing it’s resistance to incoming attacks- poison resistance (personal druidic power) - as the name implies, he is immune to some poisonsand others are less effective (of course there are exceptions to this)- expertly trained in the use of polearms, staves and fist weapons, even with daggers though to a far lesser extent (melee skills)
