"father has been insufferable during the entire meeting." mina says with an exasperated sigh as soon as she steps into her own office, momo looking up from the rubik's cube she was playing with, leaning against the desk as she waited for the ceo to come back from the meeting she was forced to attend after a small crisis took place at work. "and those assholes that drank up every word that left his mouth, just because of some kind of superiority complex that makes them support any attack directed at me."
momo doesn't say anything, because she knows that in those moments, the ceo simply needs to rant and to have someone listen to her, or else she simply will never calm down. (and the bodyguard is always more than happy to play that role for her). mina walks to sit behind her desk, throwing the files she was holding hard onto the desk.
"they're all pigs anyway, i don't know why i put up with them at this point. i should just buy all of the shares they own and sell them to women only, because i won't stand their pervet eyes always staring at the unbuttoned part of my shirt for much longer." she huffs, a strand of hair falling in front of her eyes, but she's too angry to even care about that, her fist clenched on top of the desk. momo lets go of the cube, walking around the desk slowly until she's leaning against it, right next to the ceo's tired and angry form.
"i had to control myself really hard not to threaten to fire them. and i know that technically speaking, i can't, but that has absolutely never stopped me. i swear the next time this happens i won't-"
mina suddenly stops ranting when momo tucks the strand of her hair behind her ear, staring at her with a soft amused smile and puppy eyes that always make her heart go crazy. she's at loss for words, only able to stare at momo with her mouth opened in shock from the sudden gentle touch. a blush spreads on her cheeks, and she shyly looks down, not able to stand momo's look and how full of love it is.
"w-why are you looking at me like that ? i-is there something on my face ?" she tries hard not to stutter, licking her dry lips and still avoiding the body guard's intense eyes.
"no particular reason. you're just beautiful." she says, caressing her cheek lightly before bringing her in a kiss that has any negative thoughts immediately slipping out of her mind to be replaced by comfort and warmth and passion. "and so much more important than any of those men could ever dream of being."
mina's blush intensifies and momo walks away right after, grabbing the rubik's cube on her way out. "i'll be back to escort you out of the building later today. make sure to rest a bit, sweetheart." and mina stares at the spot that momo occupied before leaving for long minutes, a finger touching her lips right where momo kissed her, her heartbeat faster than it ever has been in her chest.
