ty. brief back story, I was a freshman he was a senior & our paths never crossed meaning Idk what he's like in person. we got acquainted thru fb many years later but because I had some1 It didn't go far. we stop contact I end up single and then I find out he's now in a relationship. in 2020 we find ourselves talking again while he's still with her & it becomes what feels like an emotional affair because we're talking & of course things become sexually driven but we have yet to meet up. I'd like to think he's scared of cheating even though I told him it can be a one time thing but he hasn't made that move. my question is if its been 3 years, you love what you see, you want it as much as me your gf even found out about us and yet you still keep up contact with me, what's the delay? you can give it to me honest juug

I think real big picture shit is you need to leave it be and keep it pushing with somebody who's actually gonna show up for you.
I can't fully figure out the psychology behind dude but it's prolly something like he:
1. just likes the special version of him that you see and wishes it was the him he exists as on the daily so he's pursuing this to stroke his own ego or weak sense of self
OR
2. he's just on bullshit and likes playing around regardless of it wasting your time
either way it's a dub and you should dead that
