Ceramic Composite Matrix (CMCs) have ceramic materials made out of the combinations of either Carbon, Silicon Dioxide, or Aluminium Oxide as both matrix and reinforcement. This in turn creates a material that is resistant to crack since the fibres delaminates (?) the crack of the matrix, and since the composite is made entirely out of ceramic; CMCs have very high resistance to creep, which is temperature (and time) dependent.
