This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkDfmhkQyOs was very interesting in the revolutionizing of the slip-making and clay wheel making process. The recreation of old styles of Greek and newer style of clay dining sets shows the industrial side of the creating many designs. The adding of symbols and small artistic reliefs is made easy with molds, templates, and machining of many steps taken out to avoid human error. Though the main designs are thrown on a wheel, the mold castings are made to create several copies and other parts are added using wet slip.
