Going to probably ramble a bit here I love painting,,, I'm not sure why, but I'm very attracted to paintings that portray some sort of lonely intimacy??? Nighthawks is one of my favourites in that genre, and I absolutely adore Returning Home by Warren Chang. As far as classics are concerned, all of Caravaggio's works have me hook line and sinker, Judith Beheading Holofernes is my personal favourite and his style is something I would love to be able to emulate one day ⚰. Anyways, I hope you're having a great night!
ugh yes i agree- i love those sorts of artworks that capture such a strong sense of isolation and loneliness, they all feel so human. nighthawks is such a classic and for good reason! i hope i got the right one for returning home as few popped up but i'm assuming this is the one- and i absolutely adore it! it's one i've never seen before and it's so beautiful, i love the colors and the tone and how it captures that moment of coming back alone. and yes i agree judith beheading holofernes is also one of my favorite caravaggio's. it capture such great emotion and i could stare at the red cloth in bed background all day! and thank you!! i am- i hope you are too🖤🖤

and tidal. ugh such an insane debut album i can't believe she was 18 she is so talented. and i really really adore how candid and personal she is in all her songs, and this album clearly sets up that theme that just gets furthered in the rest of her albums. fun fact tidal is my cd of the week for playing while i get ready this week!
1) the first taste
2) criminal
3) the child is gone + shadowboxer i literally cannot pick between these two no matter how hard i try.

Just that I'm writing about fleshy ghoul monsters and your amazing oil painting captures what’s in my head accurately! If you would rather not have your work associated with my account let me know and I can remove the post :)

Given the chance to make a movie, what would it be about?
A movie about an alien invasion. The main character has a sort of prophetic knowledge (that, let's say, the "real" world has been going on for millennia) and he gets involved in a bunch of situations, with the alien threat always looming in the background (though not usually seen) and occasionally threatening to take over the world.
The rest of the movie, I suppose, would depend on what kind of themes I'm interested in – I'm kind of indifferent to plot and character and setting? I don't have the usual things that movies are about, like "character relationships" or "symbolism," the two things I'm mostly concerned with in writing fiction (at least in my own fiction). The alien invasion would give me a bunch of opportunities to depict aspects of the alien threat in various ways: it's a sort of cosmic force, so you could get all kinds of interesting visual effects like the glowing eyes and stuff, you could go with a sort of "this could easily become one of those giant, alien monstrosities," or you could do something with all this as a way of representing something more specific about the alien threat. Or you could do something completely new.
As for main characters, I dunno. I have a vague sense that this movie should probably be a sort of noir (I'm not sure I know enough about noir to put this in any more detail), but I'm not even entirely committed to that angle? It'd have to be a very different kind of main character than I usually write.
Gemini venus and mars! Same! I've gotten varying reactions from people on it but it always seems to come back to "hot and cold" whether in anger or affection.. not sure I agree completely but 🧍♀️
interesting... yeah idk if i agree completely w that either ..
