Thank you SO much for the heads up! What you mentioned is a trigger for me but I love AI stories and wanna see this. Are there any other graphic/violent things I should be aware of, that you remember offhand?

fairly big spoilers for ex machina follow. i tried to be as vague as possible while still being helpful, but it still reveals a lot if youre looking to be 100 percent spoiler free

that particular part is pretty easy to predict when its gonna come up, so should be pretty easy to avoid watching. that scene also has some moments of unreality, if that’s something that bothers you. (The character doubts they’re human)

Someone is stabbed near the end of the movie. its very easy to predict when. also there’s some violence towards non-humans that’s shown on recordings that get discovered (so there’s no blood, but it’s still pretty disturbing, people shouting, being injured and getting dragged off, that kind of thing).  There are also some visuals of partly assembled/disassembled bots? some more human looking than others, but no blood.

thats about all i can remember, but if anyone else recalls more let me know

Holy crap where has this blog been all my life? I've been at Wendys for a full year-and-a-day now and have so much to submit. I just went through and read ALL of these and am nearly crying by the end of it because it's so, so familiar to me. Thanks for having a blog for all us fast food slaves!

Gosh, I know. Like, I've archived these sounds for years.

OKAY so, they're merging MSN with Skype, right? You can apparently import your contacts and such? And they've released Msg Plus for Skype.

Of course, Plus for Skype doesn't actually support non-built-in emotion sounds yet (there's an 'add' function but you can't use it), but I'm assuming that since the option is there, it will become possible eventually, and we can import all those sounds we have. (Maybe a good idea to 'export to sound pack' while you have the chance.)

And then I can keep sending people dumb audio clips of like random Chess sounds and random Firefly commentary sounds and John Barrowman going "There's a vagina wiggle?!" and GLaDOS sounds and Eight rambling about Wizard Of Oz, and whatever the hell I have in there. I apparently have 965 sounds.
