“The questions I would have liked to ask people were: ‘Are you in love? What are you reading?”
Today I finished to read love story written by Françoise Sagan “A certain smile” in my native language. Main characters are so frightened of beind bored with love that they started slept with each other. Dominique thought it was love. But after the months of passionately thining of Luck she started to smile... Well, the thing is not very useful or full of thoughts to think or to remember. Just one thought there is interesting: love passes away. The question is what love is? Did she really feel LOVE or was it just boredom passion?
The quotes I really like from Sagan:
“Money may not buy happiness, but I'd rather cry in a Jaguar than on a bus.”
“The one thing I regret is that I will never have time to read all the books I want to read.”
“I shall live badly if I do not write, and I shall write badly if I do not live.” (that’s why I obviously write so badly).
“A dress makes no sense unless it inspires men to want to take it off you”
