CREEPING REBELLION
Supply runs and bounty hunts off-planet are rough, and Tai doesn’t treat her rig very kindly. With the federation loitering just within orbit of her hideout, she has to make full FTL hops to and from the planet’s unforgiving surface to avoid capture, and has to fly in extremely close quarters with rocky walls to get to her base within the larger canyon systems that gore through the planet. These do very well to shield all things within them from a horrid desert sun and she has ferried countless refugees to safety through them thanks to this, while militia have yet to uncover the main hideout thanks to her intimate knowledge of her preciously barren world.
With no one to contend for ownership of this world it’s a comfortable point of defense, and those nazi goons can’t make it out in the open. This deal could last her for ages, but it’s really no way for a self-respecting pirate to live...

Some form of greed has pointed Tai to her downfall, but oh, how blissfully unaware her captors are of the damage they’ve received! They already know she’s venomous if she bites, but they have no clue that those spines of hers also deliver a hearty dose of toxins when they prick you.
Hey, it’s not a single-image illustration this time! This was a fun experiment for me, to see how quickly I can put together a page from start to finish :3 I likely wont do very many more comic pages, but I’ll keep switching my medium of storytelling as I see fit. comm | kofi
