I really really love Queen’s character btw. I love that all she wants is to make Noelle happy but is inadvertently doing the wrong thing. I think that a lot of people can relate to having a parental figure or family member who loves you but doesn’t know what to do to help you

I kinda wanna post my fire fall OCs but is here even a fandom on here? There's a blindsight subreddit but I don't think it's the right place to talk about OCs there and even if you could I wouldn't want to because one of.y OCs is transmasc and reddit is usually really toxic about things like that. I think I just need to stop getting into pieces of media with barely any fandom lol

Where do I even start with this game? I may not have been here as long as others, but this game has had such a profound impact on me that I thought it was only right to express my love for it. I found it briefly in 2024, during one of the hardest times in my life so far, and then forgot about it again. But at the start of this year, I found it again, and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.

Every ounce of this game is filled with charm and creativity, from the diverse cast of characters, the story, the music, and its message.

Every single interaction with each of the characters made me feel something, whether it was making me laugh, or cry. Seeing how my choices affected their stories really made me all the more attached to how things would turn out. Whether it was freeing everyone in pacifist, or erasing them and the world in no mercy. Each and every one of them felt like people, all with their own desires and fears. The character writing shines in every interaction.

Undertale, to me, was a game that was meant to be replayed, I really was the player that thought because I “could” I “had” to. And that’s what’s so special about this game to me, and it’s that it sees how you, the player, treat a game.

Another thing about Undertale that cannot be replicated is the amount of creativity it as inspired over these past ten years. It has inspired so many to make aus, comics, fanfiction, art, and so much more. Frankly, it has been an amazing experience to be in this fandom with this many talented people.

One thing I’ve noticed when it comes to Undertale AU’s (specifically sans centric ones) is that a lot of the direction that his character is taken would fit another member of the cast much better.

For example, we all pretty much know the misconception that Sans remembers resets, and how often it’s used in fan works, but there is another character that canonically remembers resets and controlled them himself, Flowey. There’s a lot that can be done with Flowey that would fit so well resets wise, like playing into how he didn’t like resetting at first, but the more he did it the more he chased whatever new “content” he could find. He’s ripe with potential for someone to use in a reset centric story, it’s one of the biggest defining parts of his character.

Another one I see a lot is Sans being vengeful over what happened to Papyrus and the other monsters, but yet again there is already another character that does that exact thing in game. Undyne’s speech on the rocks in Waterfall changes with every monster you kill, she is enraged at what you’ve done, especially if you kill Papyrus.

I just feel that Sans could be used in a different way in fan creations. I don’t see a lot of stuff where it dives into how passive he is, or the type of almost horror that could be taken from knowing you’re in a loop but not remembering any of it. I genuinely love him as a character I just wish he was used differently and the other members of the cast got to shine as well.

I was watching some of the new season of Percy Jackson last night, and one detail that I love is that Thalia offers her hand to younger Annabeth when she says they’ll go to camp, and when Percy comforts her he offers her his hand in the same way that Thalia did. It’s both an excellent example of how similar Percy and Thalia are, and also hammers in Annabeth’s fear of being the one to get another one of her friends hurt (Even though it wasn’t her fault).

Ok I love the new dialogue from sans' pacifist fight because it says so much about him

First thing is that he's pretty different from the rest of the underground in terms of how he thinks about fighting. Because from the books in the library we know that attack patterns could be used to express monster's emotions and are used in things like greeting cards. But he doesn't think of it that way at all, seeing how he's reluctant to even hit Frisk, let alone think of fighting as something that could be fun.

Another thing is that he sees it as something wrong, and just blatantly refuses to do it again. We already knew that he had a strong set of morals because of his status as a judge in the narrative, but it adds so much to the weight of his actions in no mercy. He didn't just wait so long to fight because of the possibility of a reset, but because he thought it was so wrong to do so that it outweighed fighting us for our actions. But what would happen forced him to put aside his own morals that he followed so closely.

He always spoke about the importance of your choice in your actions, so it's perfect that he makes his own choices to follow in a similar way.

random thoughts for the homestuck college au that i had today

dave and rose have both cultivated random friendships with animals on campus/around town, rose with stray cats and dave with the local crow population, he even tried tasting the bird seed once (says its not bad)

june, sollux, and karkat are in the same comp sci class, june complains about hating it and sollux says that maybe she’d hate it less if she was actually good at it, so they’ve been beefing ever since

kanaya hits up the local thrift shops for clothes to work on, and eventually jade, rose, and feferi join in too

jade still has reminders but instead of them being on her fingers it’s a meticulously filled out planner which is color coded and everything (and it actually works for her)

Karkat is one of the people working on the newspaper
