“...Thanks for stepping in there.” So this was this universe’s Sayaka; Already contracted, so it seemed. That wasn’t exactly good news, but...It was fine. Kyoumi’s place was not to decide his choice in the matter of forging a contract with Kyubey. She only hoped he was aware of the consequences. “That was really cool, how you fought like that- I’m kind of new to this whole thing, so I don’t really know what I’m doing.” Kyoumi hated admitting this, but it was true. She really wanted to be able to protect Sayaka. A guardian angel- That’s what she’d wanted to be. But she was new to this, and judging by the way her former friend had leapt in to help her - On her first attempt, no less- proved to Kyoumi that he wasn’t.

“I’m Kyoumi. Kyoumi Kami-” She paused momentarily. It might seem kind of weird if she said ‘Kamijou’. She’d already figured out there was another Kyoumi in this universe- Kyousuke, as it was. It might prompt a question if they were related, and while she didn’t like the idea of lying, explaining herself wasn’t an appealing idea. “Kyoumi Kamiki. I hope my being here isn’t a problem for you...Um...?” It was odd to act like she didn’t know Sayaka’s name. From her eyes, this was just one of her best friends. But to him, she was a mere stranger, so to address him by his first name... It was out of the question- For now, anyways.

“I don’t get why you keep staring’ down that girl.” It’d be the first time either of them had interacted in somewhere around a week. They’d seen each other on occasion- Just passing by or while the other was stalking around, looking for Witches - And for Familiars, in Kyouko’s case. “Really, if ya want to get up and together with her, why just not use yer magic?” The lancer questioned, munching down on a cookie in her left hand, gazing at Sayaka with a morbid quizzicality. She’d seen the way he kept following that one girl - Hiyori? She didn’t know, or really care that much on the specifics- with puppy dog eyes, all the while keeping enough distance to let his other friend sidle up with her. It was...kind of pathetic, as far as Kyouko was concerned. “Even if yer powers don’t extend t’ actually gettin’ girls, or people in general, there’s always plenty of other ways.” The girl shrugged, showing her palms before extending her hand, as though she was offering the other Magi something.

“I know- Here’s a good trade. Y’let me start takin’ care of the city, and I’ll make sure that pretty friend a' yours will fall head over fer ya. I guarantee she’d be the most loyal girlfriend you could wish for.”

Kyouko’s mouth parted in a twisted smile at the thought, despite knowing Sayaka would reject the offer. It’d probably still push his buttons some, and that was really what she’d come to do. “All you’d hafta to do is let me do my thing- I could do it right now, even. Go to her house, maybe try out some new tricks while I’m at it…Then you could come in, act like a hero fer her, and she’d really never want to be without ya, especially compared to that other friend a’ yers. What normal girl wouldn’t go overboard fer some kinda princely knight, savin’ her and all?” She rested her hands on her hips, looking cooly pleased with herself. Who knew? Maybe Sayaka would really go for the offer, and she could just take over Mitakihara without having to fight him. Nice idea, but near impossible.

“Or maybe ya just want to do it yerself? Guess they’re yer powers, after all- But even then, wouldn’t be hard in th' slightest. Go t' her, and make sure she can’t live without ya…Or yer healin’ magic. It’s a win-win for everyone- ’Specially me, since you’d be too busy takin’ care a' her and goin’ on dates t' manage a territory this size."
