(I do agree with you about those necessities, to summon just in general after awakening. That is why I mentioned that it would take the IT some time to develop that. Hence why I mentioned only their Stage 2/3 Persona would be able to appear in the real world. The two times tried in the real world definitely did not meet the requirements. The first time Rise and Yukiko were intoxicated and the second time Yosuke distracted and interrupted Rise before she could summon.

Something that I didn't mention was that there would be something in the real world that would need to trigger the first summoning. Like extreme fear or something along those lines. Because canonically there is never a need for the Persona 4 team to try and summon in the real world. That is why in P4A/AU (I can't remember) Rise made a comment about not being able to in the real world. Because in those games, their Persona were still at Stage 1 and that in canon there is no event that takes place in the real world that would cause a strong enough emotional response to cause a summoning.

Being in Inaba was pleasant enough, he had to admit. The scenery was beautiful, and the people seemed welcoming. Ken had decided to meander about the shopping district and look around.

He awkwardly exchanged glances with a few strangers, and passed nods onto some of the younger residents. 

As he passed by Tatsumi Textiles, the boy noticed a familiar looking student. They were clad in the Yasogami uniform, but had a distinct blue cap on.
