Jabari strutted down the cobblestone hallways of the vast castle, his strides brisk and his figure tense. Light poured in from the large ebony windows, he took only a second to glance outside. Clouds of cotton floated from above against the fine blue sky, the wild and vivid colours of plants and flowers displayed quote nicely alongside the flowing waves of green grass. As the rays of sun danced about his gruff armor, Jabari felt upmost calm and relaxed today; something that was not normal. The queen had left early before he could catch her, leaving him to the duties in which he had already completed. And while today was to be his, 'Day Off', he believed he would contribute his time to a certain someone... Jabari twisted down a corridor and slowed into a simple walk as he neared a wooden door, he knocked on it a few times, his strong hands creating quite the ruckus. Ah yes, today he would be spending time with his apprentice, Gary. He was to be taught in the ways of a Tantibus solider, but not just any Sky-Line coat would do. He was to be taught by the head of the militia himself, Jabari the Loyal. Gary was an interesting case, he at first appeared to be some normal soldier, following commands and orders, but Jabari saw a spark in him... Something different entirely... In so, he took Gary under his wing, teaching him all he knew in hopes that perhaps, if something horrid would to be his fate, Gary would be able to take over and serve hundreds of years to the kingdom as he has. As the sun rose higher into the sky, Jabari knocked on the door of his apprentice's chambers once again, annoyed slightly. Possibly he wasn't inside? Jabari shifted his stance, his strong frame adjusting onto his back leg as the other stood out a few inches and his arms folded tightly. The soldier tilted his head as he waited for a response, a smirk appearing on his face. He faintly began to remember his younger days, far before he became a solider... His gaze once again fell upon the windows as he stumbled deep into his thoughts.
