Having fun with @jxckspxcer in our thread! Bruce is still trying to figure out whether or not Jack Spicer is actually a threat, but he’s leaning towards ‘probably not at the moment’.

“Stay here. I’ll lead them away.” That was the last thing Whitefire had said to her as she laid the little dragon inside a hollow tree. That had been at least a day ago. Her stomach was growling with hunger but she couldn’t leave. What if Whitefire came back and she wasn’t here? She heard a crack from a branch. and she could see something coming closer. Her snout stuck up as she scented the air and caught an unfamiliar scent. Was it a hunter come looking for her or maybe something else. She couldn’t stop from whimpering as she attempted to duck down and hide from the possible threat.

Well, Bruce is in a bit of a situation, ain’t he? Of all sheds to pick for shelter, he had to pick the one that belonged to a mother who is absolutely fed up with otherworldly creatures hurting her family. Good thing is, Bruce has no intentions of doing so, but Joyce Byers doesn’t know that...

Just like me to put the cart before the horse, but I’m still in love with @sschnsucht and my thread, so I had to draw more Waylon Park and Bruce (Cetus verse) interactions! I just have a feeling that after months of isolation, Bruce is probably gonna latch onto the first person with which he has only even a slightly positive interaction; in this case, that’s Waylon.
Of course, there are worse things than an overprotective sea monster constantly huddled next to you, granted he doesn’t accidentally suffocate you.
Worse things like, say, a homicidal groom perhaps…
