HE REGRETS EVEN LETTING THE WORD SLIP. It seems a single, hushed whisper is enough to have drawn its attention, and Nata's breath hitches. Curled up in a fetal position and tucked alongside the wall, he'd made himself as small as possible in his hiding place. Unfortunately, it didn't seem enough to completely obscure him from sight. If the beast squinted enough, he'd be able to make out his skinny frame and the white cloth of his scarf.
The boy had managed not to panic this far, even after having lost sight of Erik, who he had been following in this investigation. That man needed to work on his sense of awareness, because it seems that in the excitement of observing this incredible habitat, he'd separated himself from the youth he and Olivia were temporarily shadowing.
The monster draws nearer, and Nata's breath begins to quicken as he steadily comes closer and closer to panicking. There's no use in trying to be quiet now; it knew he was here! "Olivia! Olivia!"

Here's the first art trade I finished last night for @chainsxwsmile-personal featuring Bruce and Pomni. I had a blast being able to experiment with the perspective for this one and render the water, as well as try a trick for an under water warping effect.
Koa didn't know how long she'd been walking, or where she was going, let alone where exactly she was right now. She had neither a destination nor a plan, and had simply started walking after sneaking out of Rivendell. True to the motto "The journey is the destination." But as fate would have it, her path had led her to Mirkwood. Through thickets and over hill and dale, the little elf made her way through the forest. It was already beginning to get dark, and she desperately needed to find some food, water, and shelter, but there was nothing to be found anywhere. Just trees upon trees.
Sighing, Koa stopped for a moment to look around, hoping a path would magically open up for her to follow. But when, as expected, nothing happened, Koa struggled on. She had only taken a few steps when she suddenly tripped over a protruding root and tumbled forward into the foliage at her feet. "Damn…" Koa muttered as she sat up and dusted off the dirt from her hands. Sitting on the ground, she suddenly heard the cracking of branches. She immediately looked in that direction, hoping for someone who might be able to help her. "Hello?" she called into the darkening forest, but received no answer.
Koa then shrugged, assuming she'd have to find her way alone. After she got up from the ground, Koa began to climb up a tree. Perhaps she'd find her way out from up there. However, bevore she reached the top, a branch she was about to climb suddenly broke off, and Koa fell with a scream into a gigantic spider web. "Ugh," Koa she let out in disgust as she hung upside down from the tree, covered in spiderwebs. Koa really hoped that none of the spiders responsible for these gigantic webs were currently here. They must have been huge to be able to weave such webs and Koa really didn't wanted to meet them.
Of course, her hopes were immediately dashed when she heard another rustling sound and saw a giant spider geting closer. Koa's eyes widened in shock, and she began to wriggle frantically, trying to free herself from the webs. "No, no, no…" she cried out in panic. As she noticed the spider approaching, she broke off a branch from the tree to somehow ward it off. "Stay away from me!" she yelled, waving the branch wildly.
But all was in vain. Before she knew it, the spider began to wrap her in its web.

For the record: Blocking someone who personally wronged you is one thing and a perfectly okay thing to do.
Going out of your way to isolate that person from all of their friends and peers and have hundreds to thousands of people mass block them and hire a private investigator to threaten their IRL friends and work just because you're bitter about what happened is, at best, bullying behavior. And just generally a really dick move.
"Well now. For a minute there, I thought I was the scariest bloke in the circus, but..."
But, no. No, giant walking great white shark does perhaps trump candy crook croc just a bit.
