❝  I do hope he’s worth it.  ❞  Soft spoken words  (  a sigh  )  making themselves known.  Percy trusted his judgment  ---  how could he not  ??  after all this time  ---  trusted his choices, actions.  It was just...  whatever way this was spun, the younger only saw danger.  Pushing past bitter thoughts; tired, joking cheer shoved into his tone.  ❝  Why not tell him you’re lactose intolerant  ??  maybe say you can only eat stuff gluten free.  Some kind of diet  ??  ❞  Pulling the elder to his feet, guiding them both back out the door  (  ceramic floor no place for this  ).  ❝  I’m just saying that if you plan to keep this up you either need to tell him or figure out the food thing.  ❞

I wanted to give a quick shoutout to some of my closest friends <3 @pelagaios / @cevalier / @vesselize / @kingcursed​ are some of my favorite people I know and have been with me for so long now, I know I wouldn't be here without them. Each one has a unique writing style that works for their muse and as people themselves they're some of the best I know, they're all warm and wonderful and full of life. I am so happy and lucky to call them my friends and wanted to say thank you for everything <3

steeples my fingers aight so I know I’ve been trying to  (  badly  )  explain my thoughts but let’s try this again, shall we  !!  you’re getting a bulleted list cause I’m not coherent enough for a paragraph:

firstly  ---  Percy sees Lance as a very safe presence  ??  like he genuinely feels a lot better when Lance is around  (  what a parent is SUPPOSED to be  ).  he regularly seeks Lance out for no other reason than to sit with him  ??  though, he actively seeks Lance out to talk to as well  (  you know the healthy thing for once; what’s troubling him / etc  ) because he’s one of the few people Percy feels like he can talk with and actually does talk to.  which is a huge character development leap Woah™

secondly  ---  Percy thoroughly enjoys sparring with him  &&  this is important cause Percy doesn’t trust himself not to hurt people so the fact he actually practices with him I cry which is high Key why it deserves to be mentioned  (  though, you know Percy’s hangups over the whole thing generally so...  )

thirdly  ---  ‘m sorry but every argument is invalid that’s not “Percy stans Lance” because this  ??  idk to me its not just a father/son thing but like they’re  ??  genuinely good friends  ??  and I love it and the layer of complexity it adds to their dynamic
