ZOO was a co-ed group, but we hadn’t seen any performance or vocal group like this being created by HIRO at LDH, however the company had always tried to have female musical acts that shared EXILE’s DNA.
One of the first females to get labeled as one of the EXILES was singer and songwriter NaNa. As a solo act she didn’t achieved too much with LDH but she did some collaborations with other acts and of course with EXILE too: The song No Other Man, written by STY and produced by h-wonder.
STY would also produce NaNa’s single debut under UNIVERSAL SIGMA, the song Movin’on, released on September 5th of 2007, a late 2000’s Japanese R&B song with an image that had an obvious influence from the late vocalist and actress Aaliyah.
She released a second single titled SHOW GIRL on December 12th of 2007, a song that fit perfectly with the trend in J-Pop R&B-themed music and singers like Miliyah Kato or the US’ pop singer Jennifer Lopez were doing at the time.
She signed for Tiny Voice Production on 2009 as a songwriter, then she released a third single titled Merry Christmas on October 2010. NaNa is currently writing songs for the likes of Happiness, Crystal Kay, w-inds, Da-iCe, Koda Kumi or Mao Denda among other acts and has a clothes brand (ALOHA Diamonds).
NaNa tried to re-launch her solo career on 2014 with the release of the digital single 7WALK. Then, on July of 2015, she launched another single titled Trippy Girl (under OG Records). She is also a dancer and choreographer, as she started her career with the dance unit OH GIRL! That is still active.

Another of LDH’s first female soloists was the singer CEYREN, whom debuted in the year 2006 with the single Ame (rain) with the label AVEX.
CEYREN started being an indie singer with the release of the single by Ken “baby” H, the song Get it started feat. EQUAL in 2003. Then she participated in a project for BRATZ, being the lead vocalist for a series of songs (under the name BRATZ). For that project, she recorded the songs Show me what you got with Korean singer, BoA, and Howie D (from Backstreet Boys), as well as LOOK AROUND with R&B US singer and songwriter, Christina Millian and verbal from m-flo.
She was a ballad singer that sometimes had influences from R&B. She would launch two more singles under LDH:
ALL FOR YOU / CRAZY FOR YOU (2006)
and the single WITH YOU (2007).
It seems she was transferred into the sub-label J-more in 2008 and probably left LDH at that moment. CEYREN is currently doing activities in the duo named BOLDO that she formed with Ken Harada.
