1969 Pontiac Faraho CF 428 Concept Car
Pontiac CF 428
The CF 428 was projected with engineer Paul Farago’s consultation (C is for Coggiola, F is for Farago) and 428 express the power of the engine. This car was requested by John DeLorean while he was head of the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors. He asked Farago to come up with an exciting car that he could use to tour the world's auto shows and enhance the company's image. Having just left Ghia and setting up shop with Sergio Coggiola, this was the first project for the firm 'Carrozziere Coggiola,' which had opened in Turin in 1966.

The CF 428 was built using a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix. The car retains much of its Pontiac Grand Prix parts including exterior tail lights, doors handles, back glass, and interior. Best of all, the car retains its Pontiac powered 428 V8 motor and drive train.
