Melody’s first words are met with confusion---- ‘ out of line ‘?? What could she possibly mean by out of line? She was about to ask, but--- Ah. Her hand’s on my cheek. Her previous question stuck in her throat, but she was pretty sure she wouldn’t need it. As Melody leaned forward, she was somewhere between being frozen and wanting to close the gap herself. Ah ah ah, she’d be lying if she said she hadn’t THOUGHT about this, but now that it was happening she could barely bring herself to move! But then, even as her eyes wandered to Melody’s lips and she began to lean forward herself, it seemed Melody beat her to the kiss.
And oh, how wonderful it is! Warm and gentle and-- and THRILLING all at once. Her hands hesitantly move up to the other’s shoulders, softly pulling her closer as her face warms and tinges red. Everything else around her blurs, but the kiss has to end, and end it does with both of them out of breath and with rose-tinged cheeks. Loosening her grip on her shoulders, her hands dropped down to hold Melody’s.
“...Holy shit. G-good holy shit, I mean! I mean it was good! I-- um...!” She froze up again for a second before slowly continuing, attempting to sound more... Well, comprehensible. “I’ve---- I’ve also wanted to do that. And I uh-- Wow. I didn’t... think you’d also...? Wow. Jesus, um-- Should we talk about that? ...should we do it again?”
