Cotl reference - Yngya

While I was drawing her, I noticed the similarities to Avana's ascended form. I did it unconsciously, but it made me happy somehow.

I loved the story and I loved her design in the game. I especially loved her voice and I felt quite sad every time she deteriorated with the rot.

I'm not 100% sure how to integrate her into my AU... I was thinking of not having her live permanently in the cult, but also returning to her mountain with her flock. Suemy would immediately become attached to her, trying to recover what remains of her culture through her and the other ghosts (I even came up with the idea of Suemy being possessed by Yngya hehehehe~)

Avana wouldn't oppose it and would probably support it, but personally they wouldn't be that interested. I think after Woolhaven they'd be questioning what kind of god they wants to be.

I really missed doing godlike- Illustrations.

This is artfight attack I made for Ane-Doodles! I loved their design very much and I was excited to attack them.

May come back to it to add more texture but the composition was so nice that I didn't want to add to it too much.

Here is my artfight in case you would like to check it out, mainly drew humanoids as I haven't done it for a while but one comes back to where they were happy, right?

I forgot to post it here, but this is my second attack for Artfight. This time I drew @ane-doodles's lamb, Avana. Getting the pose right was a bit challenging, but it was a nice challenge :D

Allison sat by Gareth’s side in one of the many Ferris wheel cars, the small enclosure providing them a nice bit of privacy from the other park kids.

They had already moved past kissing, her mouth now busy with his ear as she nipped and nibbled and teased her tongue against it while her hand worked itself under his shirt to run her nails over his stomach. “Come on Big Guy… I wanna see you. Take it off for me?”

Cotl reference - Sariel

When I was drawing his face in the sketch on the left, I realized that his hair/wool was very similar to the canon lamb's, only with a beard and a different texture... I found it curious :3c

Anyway, I imagine that when Avana gets his fleece, I'll take inspiration from the image with the black uniform; I think it looks pretty cool, to be honest.

In other news, I have an idea for a short Sariel and Yngya animation. I don't think it contributes to the lore and is purely for vibes and fun... I have this habit of taking songs from movies and taking them out of context.

Avana's (lamb) new reference!!

I love using ArtFight as an excuse to share OCs I've been saving and to update current OC designs.

A few notes I can mention:

The old hairstyle was a placeholder I grew attached to, but I finally decided to change it to something I liked a lot more and that better suited Avana's character. It's loosely inspired by Fei Fei and my own hair!! (it's a mess)

The lamb's old fuchsia cape remains as an early design before being replaced by the current ruana. It goes like this: Original cape (given by Narinder) > Early design cape (made with scraps from the previous one and adding A's design to the edges) > Ruana (retaining A's design, hinting at the future three-eye design)

I added a slight variation in the skin tones, just to make it easier to distinguish the angle of the head when coloring. I also decided to add a little color to the fingers to match the hooves… I'm hesitant to put hooves on the hands yet.

The faux wool covering under the vest now has a slightly different hue for easier identification.

The burn mark on her thigh is now more visible. I'm too lazy to maintain an elaborate tattoo design, so for now, the most important thing will be to preserve the main shapes.

I also changed the wool distribution on the body, I think it looks much better now and even looks more like Avana's alternate faun design.
