klaus was born three minutes earlier than kira which is why he gets the full number.
but kira likes to tease him that she has the “half” added to her name bc she’s so much better/reginald likes her more
(he doesn’t. he hates both of them equally)
grace named them klaus and kira because they were twins and according to her, twins always had matching first letter names.
they have ~twin telepathy~ which appears whenever one’s in dire danger or like really fucked up
so when klaus is on one of his benders, kira feels the dull effects of whatever he’s on -- like not full blown high, but def a little cloudy
aka why she always puts him through rehab because she hates the feeling/needs her abilities to run her business
on the other hand, when klaus gets kidnapped by hazel and cha-cha, she’s the only one who knows something’s wrong bc there’s a moment where she wakes up feeling like she’s choking on air
reginald would do terrible things to them in an effort to strengthen their bond
like when they were kids, klaus was put in the mausoleum while kira was buried alive in order to strengthen their connection to both each other and death itself
both of them know what it’s like to be trapped which is why when vanya gets put in that containment thing, neither one of them like it one bit!

whenever kira’s lounging in the living room, klaus will sometimes just come and sit on top of her stomach, just squishing her down and ignoring her groans and pokes to get him off
when kira finally figures out how to astral project, she likes to scare klaus -- esp when he’s in the shower hehe
they shared a room growing up, which meant kira would always know whenever klaus was having nightmares (of the dead) and would just snuggle into bed with him -- most nights they ended up sleeping in the same bed anyway
both super supportive of each other’s sexualities!!!!
growing up, they’d sneak out of the house to smoke cigarettes and drink booze that kira had stolen from whatever past mission they were on.
kira’s seen klaus die at least a hundred times from different drug overdoses, it haunts her which is why she doesn’t really take the Big World Ending One seriously at first cause....he’s come back before, right?
they have the same mannerisms and don’t take things very seriously cause yaknow, harbingers of death.
they both have very loud personalities, which leads to a lot of screaming matches about stupid shit like pizza toppings or types of donuts
of course, they kept in contact with each other even after leaving the academy and sometimes klaus would go to ask for money for drugs get a reading from her.
they’re stupidly loyal to each other -- if only because they’re actually siblings.
