how do you feel about caregiver thor !!! i want to hear your ideas oror whose your ideal caregiver

honestly i’m not really into thor and the main avengers (except for bucky and natasha) BUT! a few ideas did come to mind:

-i think he’d pick up little!reader before they can run in the corner of a table (poor spatial awareness meets stubbornness to not slow down even after he told you to)

-would go to avengers meetings with sleeping little!reader in his arms, he’d sit down and they’d rest against his chest

-would crouch down to their level when they’re mumbling so he can hear them better

-holds them back from walking into the road because they always forget to look both way

-gives in very easily when they say they don’t want to walk, doesn’t even blink before he picks them up

as for my ideal caregiver: i really love logan howlett, bucky barnes and frank castle! i like ‘em rough around the edges but soft at heart! (can you tell i have daddy issues lmao) i just want to feel safe and cared for!

also for my audhd folks: i have a feeling that once they get to know little!reader they’d love little!reader’s stims and quirks :) i just want to not feel judged!

A/N - Had my first day of school today, it was kinda exhausting but I got to talk to one of my friends from my photo 1 class from a prior year and we share alot of classes! So we'll be able to work together for the semester which will be super fun. I thought of this little blurb when I was out shopping with my mom and couldnt find things that were in my size. I hope others can relate.

Thor and Loki follow closely behind you as you search for a new outfit in your favorite store. Your face lighting up when you find things in your size, and you little squeal when it fits exactly how you wanted.

Loki smiles everytime he sees sometihng he thinks you would like, but his face immediately turns when they dont have your size. He'd use his magic so you wouldnt be able to see the product and become upset over the lack of size options.

Thor would quietly and politely ask the workers for one of everything in your size, making sure to have it delivered to the tower, the extra clothing helping to replace your favorite pieces when they get older or they need to be retired.

You happily run up to loki and thor and hang off of them as they show you around the store, helping you to try on anything you'd like to, and making sure you dont touch things that might make you feel gross.

They even help you to pick up a few presents for Peter and Strange before Loki takes you out of the store while Thor pays, making sure you never see the price ever.

Loki softly smiles as you begin to fall asleep in his arms after such a good day shopping. Thor walks out and hands Loki the bags as he takes you from Lokis arms, carefully climbing in the backseat with you on his lap so he can protect you while you sleep.

Once safely in dream land, the two set you down in Thors bed as they unpack all the clothes and get them washing so you can play dress up once your up. The two high five as they sit back on the couch, a successful shopping trip in the bag. (Hehe)

you'd explained the concept ten times over, but thor still just wasn't getting it. it wasn't his fault he'd grown up for a thousand years on a planet with no halloween. other aspects of the holiday made sense to him, like harvesting pumpkins and decorating doorways. but dressing up as movie characters to get free candy from strangers? what an idea! and you knew just the way to help your caregiver understand. telling him about it didn't work, showing him pictures of your costumes through the years didn't really help either, so you decided it was time for thor to practice trick or treating himself. you were easily able to throw together a makeshift costume with clothes from both yours and thor's closets, not that it mattered too much for this practice run, but you still wanted to make the experience as authentic as possible. you handed him a spare pillowcase from the linen closet and went over the instructions with him once more before running to your room and shutting the door behind you. "okay go!"  you called from behind the door. with only a hint of hesitation, thor walked towards your bedroom and knocked on the door, which swung right back open immediately. you looked up at him expectantly as you waited for him to deliver his line. "trick... or treat?" thor said cautiously, and you beamed. you grabbed a handful of plastic food from your toy basked and dumped it into thor's waiting pillowcase. "good job, papa! you did it!!"

you woke up suddenly, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes and yawning. the sound of music laughter and chattering adults boomed from downstairs as you whined, burying your head in the covers.

an hour before, you’d started to feel little, so had excused yourself from the avenger’s party to go for a nap.

your caregiver, thor, had insisted on putting you to bed, but you hadn’t wanted to ruin his night with his friends.

now you were regretting it.

everything felt fuzzy and you didn’t know what to do, all you knew was that you wanted your daddy.

you began to cry, sitting up and rocking yourself back and forth.

you continued with this for around ten minutes, before the door creaked open.

you squinted at the light seeping in, and covered your face with your favorite stuffie.

‘hi, y/n’

natasha’s voice was soft in your room as she approached you. you whined and held your arms out, whimpering.

‘wan da’ you stuttered as she picked you up and held you close, shushing you.

before you knew it, you had been carried downstairs and sat on thor’s lap.

you felt his big hand stroking your hair, you smelt his comforting aroma and heard him cooing at you and telling everyone to quieten down.

you began to relax in his embrace, tucking your head in his neck and sniffling slightly.

after a few minutes had passed, he spoke up.

‘hello, my little godling’ he said softly.

as many times as the other avengers had heard him talk to you when you were small, they were always shocked by how much his voice changed from its normal gruff, loud tone, to one of comfort and quietness.

you babbled something incoherent, muffled by his neck. thor laughed at you.

‘you are tiny’

you nodded at his statement, closing your eyes, feeling sleep begin to take over once again. he noticed your breathing getting heavier and your body becoming more relaxed as he stroked your back.

‘sleep, my darling. daddy’s here’

Thor is babysitting Little!Mobius and Little!Sylvie because Loki has to go on a weekend business trip, and he's just the coolest uncle.

Tiny baby Mobius had his reservations at first. He's always a little clingy to Loki, but now he is just head over heels for Thor and just so wants to be held and cuddled, and he loves that Thor lets him wear his big t-shirts to play in because of course all Loki packed was cute but rather frumpy and stiff baby clothes that aren't much suited to play.

And Sylvie? She loves having a big brother who's always happy to play with her.

Well... Loki plays too, but... he's not Thor.

Thor is really good at roughhousing and takes her out to ice cream and buys her (and baby) new toys!

Loki is a little mortified when he comes back to find how much his brother has spoiled his little ones!
