Why is Ida so mama/papa coded.

Bonus hc: would let his little wear his glasses for pretend play, to stim with, or wear (he’d smile if they asked politely too) while also reminding them it might hurt their eyes or head because of the prescription inside.

Shoto Todoroki Agere headcanons!

❄️has been tested repeatedly ever since he turned 13 for his classification

🔥Endeveor immediately forced him onto suppressants the minute he presented as a little. He wears patches constantly (much beyond the recommended times).

❄️a delay in his suppressants leaves him vulnerable to his own instincts. After being suprressed for years, he slips, and he slips hard. It lasts a solid week with him being unable to be coaxed out and left in the care of Aizawa and Hizashi until he inevitably ages up and is embarrassed and ashamed. With a bit of a heart to heart, Todoroki is taken off suppressants and adapts to regressing.

🔥His headspace age range is rocky. It hasn't quite solidified, but he usually regresses smaller, down to infant years and up to age three. He's a padded regressor.

❄️He's quiet, often falling nonverbal save for the occasional one word answer. He instead either uses baby sign language or leaves his gestures and whines up to interpretation.

🔥When he grows more comfortable he'll act out just because he feels safe enough to do so, but is absolutely all tears by the time his punishment is over (likely a timeout and soft speaking to, but that's enough to get him feeling guilty). He's definitely a bit sassy, too, eventually, which is to be expected.

❄️Usually regresses around Iida and Midoriya the most. Momo as well. They all got together to make him a schedule that's followed whether he's big or not, to create a sense of security of what's to come with their day. It's made weekly, depending on their classes and activities and incredibly detailed, color coded, and everything. He cherishes it.

🔥Furthermore, he absolutely has a behavior chart/mainly as an excuse for Him to put cute stickers on it. It's almost always filled with the brim.

❄️also, he is a velcro baby. He never wants to be let down or left alone, very clingy. Loves to sit with his caregivers when they're doing homework and what not

🔥He doesn't play alot, he enjoys coloring and listening to audio books/looking through picture books (or if his caregivers are up to it, being read to).

❄️when he's a bit older in headspace, he's definitely curious. His favorite word is "Why?" And loves when Midoriya will ramble for hours about everything, soaking in every word, even if his toddler brain doesn't actually understand any of it.

🔥His scent is likely a cool, fresh mint scent, with an undertone of a wintergreen tree.

Caregiver! Tenya Iida hcs:

-📘 Iida would be surprised when asked to be a caregiver or supervise as a babysitter, but would be a very good caregiver nonetheless

-📘Keeps his regressors gear in an easy to remember place, hidden if they asked. He keeps it organized, all together, and clean as well

-📘Knew a little about age regression while doing hero work and has done research on it

-📘Strict caregiver, but he does things for a reason. He would never purposely upset his regressor but he has his rules set for very good reasons

-📘Iida strikes me as the type to promote communication, but he’s become observant enough to notice what his regressor wants or needs through body behavior

-📘The best at multitasking, he’ll usually be doing something as he cares for a regressor as well

-📘The type to print out coloring pages, easy to do math sheets, word searches, color by number, and etc for his regressor to keep them busy

-📘Also the type to set up stickers charts, routines, and reward systems if his regressors likes, wants, or needs them

-📘If he ever plays competition based games, he lets his regressor win

-📘Asks his regressor questions to better understand their regression and preferences to things

-📘The type of caregiver to have a bunch of books. He’d read his regressor a new story every day if they asked, he also tells them random facts if they ask or are bored and regressed

-📘Iida isn’t the type to do negative associating or punishments, but he’ll put his regressor to bed early if anything. Iida is also the type to go to bed early so he encourages his regressor to do the same as well

-📘Iida has been dubbed mama, papa, glasses, blue head, speedy, flash wanna be, Da, grampa, pops, and teach by other class A regressors (mostly by Bakugo, Deku, Uraraka, and Sero)
