🎀 ⋯ In my mind, Nene’s definitely more of a reserved and low energy caregiver, she isn’t usually cut out for taking care of super active and restless littles like Emu, Tsukasa, or in this case, Mizuki. I believe I’ve stated in another little Mizuki post that I think her ages would go from 0-4, but when it comes to Nene, she probably tries to stick to her “older” side on that little scale. She’d already be so grateful for Nenes help, she wouldn’t want to stress the poor girl out by being entirely reliant in her super-duper baby headspace.
👾 ⋯ However, she can’t tone down just how giddy and restless she is when she’s regressed! Its impossible! So, as soon as she’s little, she’s giggling and dragging Nene along to participate in a super cute make believe fashion show with her. She’ll dress her up in all sorts of pretty pink bows and a fluffy dress. The two of them will be the prettiest princesses around! Nene doesn’t have the heart to deny the kiddo of this brief entertainment, and sooner or later, she’ll find herself smiling at the girls enthusiasm over such a small, simple thing.
🎀 ⋯ Whenever Mizuki is super, duper little, Nene will put on personal pretend shows with the rest of Wonderlands Showtime. The girls far too small to do many other activities, and Nene wouldn’t want the baby upset! Mizuki will very quickly find herself giggling and babbling along to the performance. Rui and everyone else just look sooooo cool!
👾 ⋯ Since Nene loves movies so much, and Mizuki loves anime so much, I can see the two of them combining those little interests of theirs and putting on a nice movie night. Sooner or later, Mizuki will get sooooo invested in it! She’ll begin to giggle and babble along whilst Nene curls her fingers through the baby’s soft, pink hair, both of their eyes glued to the screen!
little oddly specific scenario i thought up ft. tiny transfem rui and cg nene
ruis been growing out her hair cuz she wants it to be long and pretty! only issue is that shes real bad with upkeep already n taking care of even more hair than usual is super hard... one night shes trying to brush it but she keeps pulling at the knots,, usually she'd just power through, it was easy to with short hair, but now it hurts really bad and it makes her eyes sting and she gets overwhelmed cause if she doesnt get it untangled it wont be pretty but if she does it'll hurt more !!!
stress becomes fuzz and she ends up calling nene for help (cause if she messages her, theres a chance she'll be focused on a game and wont see til later!!!)
nenen comes over, quickly hushing and soothing her baby. rui cries and cries, cause everythings stressing her out n her hands hurt n her fingers are achey from pulling n everything hurts n shes never gonna be pretty !!!! nene holds her and shushes and gives her a whole lotta forehead kisses til she calms down
nene gently guides her through the process of how to properly take care of her hair: wetting it, using conditioner, combing the product through the hair. rui doesnt really retain the info -nene's so kind and gentle- but makes little mhms anyway. at the very least its a distraction and it takes her mind off her earlier distress
after drying it manually -cause the blow dryer's too loud- nene gives rui another forehead kiss
"see? all done"
"mhm.."
nene gets rui to bed, cause ruis always sleepy after crying. they snuggle up n rui asks if she's pretty. nene assures her shes very pretty and very cherished. rui easily drifts to sleep under nene's chin
• global agreement that rui is a sleepy little. hes awake for a bit to play around n have fun, but being little creates a calming enviroment that just automatically makes him eepy.. hes always being kept up by his mind but when he allows himself to be surrounded by soft colors n comfort he cant help but fall asleep... sometimes he tries not to cause he wants to play more !! but hes no match for the sleep demons </3
• nene likes being engaged in stuff methinks. animal crossing specifically- since her usual games are shooters n big open worlds that need a lotta thinking, a lotta skill, n a lotta big thoughts, she has limited baby safe options. she hops onto ac. sometimes she'll get rui to play too and he'll ask baby? and she uses the nod reaction and then he uses his confetti reaction hehe ,, speaking is hard for her so being able to just run around the island is super nice.. nenechan partakes in a lotta parallel play. this applies to emu too. tsukasa is not the best gamer, so while there might be a family console, the ac island is probably saki's hehe
• emuchan !!! the biggest pillow fort maker!! already being tiny, she loves making big piles out of her plushies and sinking into them. its so soft and comfy she feels so itty bitty !!! emu's room is the best for wxs, most baby safe and has enough plushies to make even rui feel itty.. inside her secret hideout she makes bracelets and colors pictures and has snacks of course !!
• tsukasa likes having someone there with him, baby or not. when hes tiny, he just likes knowing theres another person there, even if its nene focused on her pokemon moon or emu making sure he's having fun waiting for the cookies to bake or rui sleeping soundly next to him. its a little sad to acknowledge why he wants someone there with him (regressing alone is always scary) but when in doubt he knows his troupe is there for him. even if its super late at night, chances are at least ruis awake.. go to sleep ru-nii!!!
