THE TRIBUTE CENTRE: As the train pulls into the Capitol, the tributes are greeted with a barrage of people and cameras. It appears as though the entire Capitol has chosen to greet them upon their arrival, and the second they stop off the train, cameras are concentrated on each of their faces, huge screens in front of them showing their reactions in real time.
The tributes are led through the crowd of adoring Capitol citizens, taken straight into the tribute centre where they meet their mentors for the first time. There are 24 mentors, one for each tribute, all of them Capitol residents specifically trained to help tributes navigate the games. They each have a brief meeting with their Capitol mentor, and then they are free to explore.
The Tribute Centre consists of a training centre taking up the entire first floor, along with a floor each for each of the twelve districts that includes sleeping quarters and meeting rooms for the tributes to talk to their mentors privately.
Beyond that, there is a rooftop garden with a pool, a spa (yes - that includes a sauna!), a music room, an arts and crafts room, and a confessional booth (more on that later!), as well as the standard lounge, bar, and dining room.
Tributes are required to train for at least three hours each day between the times of 2-5PM. Other than that, they are at liberty to do as they like, their moves followed at all times by a series of cameras hidden throughout the building.
Once tributes enter the Tribute Centre, they are allowed to announce their couple choice at any time. To do so, send your couple of choice to the MAIN BLOG. Both parties will have to confirm their status for it to become official Capitol ruling. The sooner you announce your couple choice, the more benefits you’ll receive as per the favour of the Capitol.
Each week, the Capitol will give tributes a run down on how the people of Panem view them, with CHOICE COUPLE, UNDERDOG, and VILLAIN being just some of the titles tributes will be awarded with each week. REMEMBER - The Capitol is building their own narrative based on the most interesting story, and they will try to manipulate tributes into giving them the story they want.
An starters posted from this moment onwards will be in the tribute centre. Any ongoing conversations happening on the train can be rounded off, but no new starters on the train can be posted.
