2. The Primordial Light woke knowing something was wrong, something dirty was passing through her meteors. It was heading too Earthbread. And it was to close for her to stop it.
All of her meteors let her watch as the filth landed, splattering its grotesque form all over the wonderful planet.
She knew it was only a matter of time until one of those wonderful inhabitants found the filth. A day? A week?
They couldn't know what it would do. She didn't know what it was, but she had an ever sinking feeling as she watched one of them scoop some into a basket, mistaking it for a harmless bit of moss.
The Primordial Light felt sick when that poor Cookie coughed up more of the filth than it had ever consumed. Eyes a little more yellow, brain a little more foggy.
It spread fast, ripping through the Cookies before any of them knew what was happening. When it was over, only The Cookies that would never die would be left. The Primordial Light would cry, if only.
... If only...
1.
The Primordial Light sat upon Her Moon, watching over the planet that spun below. Her Comets encircled it, showing her the vision of the life on its surface.
A Cookie holds their Child. A Wizard mixes batter, another preps a spell. The Witches plan a feast. A Cookie explores the forest. A Dragon watches over three eggs. Lady Death keeps the balance.
It was serene, Earthbread was stable, it was at peace.
As was she.
The Primordial Light leaned against Her Moon, waving her hand, allowing Her Comets to rest. She will awake again, as she does, but for now she closes her eyes. And Her Moon becomes full.
