I’ve come to rely on CGM. I’m currently without, and it’s hard. I felt low, tested at 40, and took a carb correction guess. I had no idea what direction it was headed without the predictive benefits of CGM. Great way to chase blood sugar all day. Insurance insists that I have to buy a bundle, which would cost me twice as much as I should need to spend and still not come close to reaching my deductible. So basically, insurance priced me out of accessibility. Broken system.
Well... it’s not perfect, but can I say this #last24hours looks so so #pretty to me!!! 😻😻😻 #progress type1isnotachoice #type1diabetes #cgm #cgmlife (at Torrance, California)
Got my @grifgrips in the mail last night and here's my first one! Didn't get it on 100% perfect but it looks pretty darn good for a first try! #grifgrips #grifgripsinaction #butterfly #spring #green #diabeticgirl #diabeticlife #diabeticgirlprobs #diabeticprobs #dexcom #dexcomg5 #cgmlife #cgmonarm #springtime #southerndiabetic
Dexcom G5 on iPhone
It always baffled me that in this day and age my pocket diabetes devices couldn't get something as simple as Tetris on them. But now that I have a Dexcom G5 my main diabetes device has Clash of Clans. Life is now more bearable. Thank you Dexcom.
