“What do you want for Christmas?”

“Please be home,” Micah muttered to himself as he knocked on the door to the apartment Clary shared with Cory.

“I can do this, right? I can play in the championship game? I mean Aaron’s not gonna be playing with me and that’s just the worst because it’s my first season.”

"If I see another loved up couple, I’m going to throw a rock at them." Micah scowled. “And if you say a word about Lo and me, I will a rock at you too. We’re not that loved up!” He pointed to a couple who couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

“Happy 18th.”

Winning the Championship game was the best thing that had ever happened to Kaia. Her and Taylor were a solid duo, and she hadn’t messed up once with Aaron. A bouquet of flowers was casually in her hand as she ran up the stairs to Clary’s dorm. The game was barely over as she barged into the room.
“Clary! We did it! We won!” Kaia let the flowers fall on the nearest bed before hugging her captain.

“Clary!” Micah spotted his half-sister and push his way through the crowd toward her.

Micah: Can we talk?
Micah: Please?
