(I love this question so much. Absolutely no doubt in anon’s mind that I can list at least five Akainu lines that make me want to personally throw down with him. You’re right, of course.)

オヤジとゴロツキ共に慕われて… 家族まがいの茶番劇/oyaji to gorotsukidomo ni shitawarete… kazoku-magai no chabangeki. (‘A “father” idolized by a bunch of thugs… what a farcical sham of a family.’)

I feel like this one can’t be a surprise because I already made a whole post about how much it personally enraged me.

貴様らの血筋はすでに大罪だ!/kisamara no chisuji wa sude ni daizai da! (‘You bastards’ bloodlines alone are mortal sins!’)

Directed at Luffy and Ace, immediately before his attempt to kill a distracted Luffy. Worth nothing that 大罪/daizai (serious crime/mortal sin) when applied to a person is a very serious/degrading insult- essentially calling them the scum of the earth. 

実に、空虚な人生じゃあありゃあせんか?/jitsu ni, kuukyo na jinsei jaa aryaa senka? (‘Honestly, it was a rather meaningless life, wasn’t it?’)

Regarding Whitebeard and his failure to become king, and honestly oh god this one made me so fucking mad. He didn’t WANT to be king you ASSHOLE he had everything he wanted!! 

まだ息はありそう/mada iki wa arisou (‘Seems he’s still breathing.’)

Just the absolute emotionlessness of this one made me hate him. It’s what he says as he basically watches Ace crumple over in Luffy’s arms and draws back to hit him again. 

正しくもない兵は海軍にゃいらん! tadashikumonai hei wa kaigun nya iran! (‘The marines don’t need an unrighteous soldier!’)

Said right before attempting to kill Coby for the crime of standing up to stop a meaningless, pointless slaughter.

Akainu refers to Whitebeard’s family as a 家族まがいの茶番劇/kazoku-magai no chabangeki. Kazoku means ‘family’ while magai means ‘imitation’ or ‘sham.’ And then chabangeki means ‘low comedy’ or ‘farce.’ So this phrase is essentially ‘farcical sham of a family.’ 

The current mood is wanting to rip Akainu apart with my bare fucking hands, folks!

All the Whitebeard Pirates call Whitebeard オヤジ/oyaji, but I’m pretty sure Whitebeard himself never actually uses the word until right here, when he’s asking Ace if he was a good father.
