Uhhhh what's your opinion on Philippines x Palau? And uhhhh, basically any Sunshine Harem ship you can think of? For reasons
I’m just gonna do Philippines x Palau because I’m a lazy piece of shit. And can’t think of any sunshine harem ships.
It’s okay? The two from what I’ve seen aren’t really that close. Let’s look at their relations together though.
In the recent era, formal diplomatic relations between Palau and the Philippines were established on July 15, 1997. The formalization of ties were done in Manila and was oversaw by Philippine Foreign Secretary Domingo Siazon and Palau Minister of State Andres Uherbelau.
Palau currently has an embassy in Manila as of 2012 while the Philippines previously had an embassy in Koror which opened in 1998. The closure of the embassy in Palau along with 9 other diplomatic missions of the Philippines by the end of July 2012 was announced on January 25, 2012. Budgetary constraints was the cited reason.
Palau President Johnson Toribiong requested President Benigno Aquino III to reconsider the government's plan to close the embassy in Palau. According to Toribiong the embassy is essential in the delimitation talks on the two countries' maritime border and that the embassy serves about 5,000 Filipino workers, which compose of 60 percent of Palau's foreign work force and 20 percent of the country's total population. The closure of the Philippine embassy in Melekeok was expected to affect Filipinos in neighboring countries such as Micronesia and the Marshall Islands.
The Philippine embassy in Koror closed on July 31, 2012. The Philippines has since maintained relations with Palau along with Micronesia and the Marshall Islands through the DFA's Office of Asian and Pacific Affairs and maintains an active honorary consulate in Koror.
There are 5,000 Filipino workers in Palau. 60 percent of all foreign workers from Palau came from the Philippines and they compose of 20 percent of Palau's total population. Palau's Medical Referral Program which was in force for almost 20 years, sends 100–150 patients annually to the Philippines for medical treatment. Many of Palau citizens goes to the Philippines to study in colleges and universities for higher education.
So yeah, I wouldn’t say that they’re that close. Though I don’t ship the Philippines with anyone because I don’t know enough about the country. So take that as you will.
KOROR CITY!!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! everyone cheer for her shes so cool and awesome and pretty and she should be the capital again
ngerulmud my beloathed
procrastinating on my inbox because i HAD to do koror (oreor). I couldn't stop thinking about himm...my boy.......i need to squish him with a million fists. my horrible capitalist. He is, as his name, quite the hard worker. He puts time and energy into being the face of palau and supporting her a ton <:) hes one of her best friends. Kind of a mom friend in how he pushes her to take care of herself but also guilty of "do as i say not as i do" as he too is guilty of overworking. speaking of palau hes a sucker for shitty palau merch his room is full of her flag and his wardrobe is the corniest patriotic palauan merch possible. its like wearing merch of your friend's face. he thinks hes so funny and airai HATES him for it OH ALSO he's an artist!!!!!!!!! the guy loves painting and drawing and is a pretty damn good tattoo artist! too bad his humor proceeds his fashion sense LOLLL
taiwan and palau <:) theyre really good friends!!! My taiwan design is so boring rn lol </3 i promise ill spice her up a bit i just need to study her more, symbolism and whatnot. Palau also needs more alt outfits shshshshsh
PALAU! I had to draw her next... She's such a wreck but she's keeping it together best she can. She also looks a lot younger then she is-- make no mistake, she's a grown woman. She tends to go for light clothing, since she's big into fishing and keeps a few tanky aquariums herself. Theres some scattered references to Palauan symbols here, namely the star-moon circle on the Koror flag on her shirt, Koror being the most populous island!
Aaaas I said, theres more I could say about her, but I think I'm going to keep my words until I have more of her interactions with the others planned out. She's quite close with Nauru and the FSM though!!!
Palau!!! day 1 of october <- yes i know im late im trying my best </3 this series is going to be mostly sketchy/doodle-y designs so that i can keep sane and also DO MY REQUESTS which. YES i am DOING!!! ACTIVELY!!! im just...... a little behind </3
The family tree for these guys is always very hard to work on when there's very little information. Anyway, TTPI was organically South Seas Mandate, which is why she has the parentage she does. Since the UN sort of moved it from Japan's hands to America, I wanted to keep them the same. I had a hard time figuring out when I wanted the former TTPI guys to be born, but I eventually decided on doing it when the districts were made, which included NMI, and had Micronesia born when the country was created, since the states made the country, with Pohnpei as the parent, since the Micronesian capital is in that state.
OH THIS IS SO COOL!!!!! I am admiring your family tree making skills with such awe, I tried using that website once and it hurt my brain lol I suuuck at family trees :P But this IS so awesome. Yap, Chuuk, Mariana, Palau, Marshall, and Pohnpei sharing a birthday is very cute, ACTUALLY I ended up drawing them all together just because the idea of them all hanging out made me smile. Though my FSM is a system, so this is based in your world I suppose!
(Side note: I do wonder where Nauru would be on this: Considering it was incorporated into the Marshall Islands after Germany annexed it but was later captured by the Australians-- I've always considered him and Marshall to be brothers because of that, But I also play very loose with my family tree, so I'm curious to see how you'd interpret it!)
