"Shit!" Wanda peered up from where she had been laying under the covers, glancing at the bra that was hanging on the fan before turning her attention to Javier. "I was aiming for the floor... seems I threw it a little too high," she giggled, her hand reaching out for his, "you wanna come and join me in here? I missed your handsome face too much."

“But you don’t have to.” Wanda didn’t like to be pitied. She had had it from the Avengers for months after her brother had died and she had hated it. The last thing she needed from Javier now was him taking pity on her for struggling to get through her day. “I’m fine, really. You probably have plenty of other things you could be getting on with.
