Whatever argument there was going to be, Addison seems to have won it and a silence falls between them. The glare doesn’t do anything to his nerves and he watches as a question forms -- words innocent and honest. That is what shakes him. What takes him off guard. It was easy to forget that there were still some innocent people in the world.
“It’s all ladybits.” Addison watches carefully, interested in how far the other’s curiosity went.
