lilly attempted to cover the bruise on her face with foundation and concealer, but her lip was swollen and it was hard to disguise. "i'm fine. it's nothing." lilly answered the person. her boyfriend was still abusing her and he hadn't left his wife.

"this bruise? oh... it's nothing." lilly pulled her sleeve down, she hadn't even noticed the fingerprints left behind from when her abusive boyfriend grabbed her. he wasn't even her boyfriend, just a man using her.
