yes everybody knows already that luffy is deeply compassionate and empathetic despite seeming like a brainless idiot most of the time, but to think that shanks losing his arm saving him affected him so much, that he adopted this completely indomitable fighting spirit. when I think of that time during baratie when he got angry with sanji for being so willing to sacrifice his life after zeff lost his leg for him, it makes me imagine that shanks’ sacrifice for him is wayyy more of a driving force for him than it seems. that he has this terrifying determination to fight and live and not let anyone stop him because it would be a disservice to shanks and the sacrifice he made for him.

Hi! Can i ask for a scenario of Ace, Sabo and Luffy on how would it be if they had a baby sister? Thanks!

I did headcanons instead so I could cover more ground. Hope that’s okay. It is a bit on the short side though.

ace would be so scared to be alone with her

what if he falls asleep and leaves her unattended?

what if, while he’s distracted, she runs off somewhere and gets hurt?

he is constantly worrying over the little details and feels that he wouldn’t be a good big brother to her

any type of responsibility will be left to sabo because he just feels like he can’t trust himself

sabo would be the best big brother

always encouraging and complimenting her

smiles and head pats 24/7

gives out the best hugs, especially when she says she’s scared

luffy will be that big brother who acts more like the little brother

though when needed, he will turn protective towards her

but most of the times, instead of telling her she can’t go out into the forest at night because it’s dangerous, he’ll join her and make a game out of it

then they’d both get in trouble when they come home later with scars and bruises

I think there should be at least one time that luffy recruits someone to the straw hats (in typical luffy fashion— seeing something in them that makes him pester them until they agree) but then he ends up being just,,,, insanely wrong about what he saw in them. like they’re evil as fuck and it’s a catastrophic mistake to have let them onto the ship. I just think it would b fun.
