“You need to eat something, you’ve been through a lot today.” - Dick to Dawn

Dawn sighed a little but didn’t move, just curling up closer to Dick “Later… for now… this is perfect.” She breathed softly. He was right, she had been through a lot that day, but right now, with him there, it was making it easier. 

“This is all I need right now.” She told him.

“I’ve made so many mistakes, but you’re not one of them.” - Dick to Dawn

Dawn lightly stroked his cheek as he spoke “And you’re not one of mine.” She replied softly as she looked at him, searching his eyes and wondering why he made his sudden confession to her.

“Its never too late Dick, you know that right?”

“I hate him.” - Hank to Dawn

Dawn turned Hanks hand, cupping his cheeks with her hands. “Hank, look at me.” She breathed, trying to get him to focus on her. “I know you do, but right now, he needs our help, they all do, this isn’t just about him, this is about everyone.” She told him, her fingers lightly starting to stroke his cheek. 

“This is what we do, who we are, we help people, and right now, they need our help. So please.. please, just push those feelings aside for now, and stay with me, help me help them.” She breathed.
